As mankind evolved, it built more and more complex infrastructures to suit its own needs. With this human-centered-design approach, we fail to realize that we are the only ones to benefit from these accomodations, leaving other life forms to endure the consequences. With this project, my team and I aimed to bring some awareness to this topic: more specifically to the effect this has on birds. The electromagnetic waves emitted from sources like antennas and wifi towers tend to mess with the orientation system of birds. With this wearable helmet, we aim to recreate this confusion by capturing these waves, processimg them, and outputting them a way that's tangible to human beings.
